Sadly this beautiful floral rug looks more gray than dark brown. The brown area has smokey speckles throughout it which makes it look more gray than brown, Plus the lower level scrolls look gray also. I think your description of this rug needs improving, as it is beautiful if I wanted gray, but I am replacing gray carpets and was very disappointed in this rug. It will be replaced as soon as I find something I like.
