These treads are holding up well with 2 kids and older dog with hip problems. I was apprehensive about using tacks to install them (as opposed to self-adhesive or non-slip), but I am glad I did because I don't see how the other products would hold up as well. My only dislike is that the material stretches, therefore causing disfigurement in shape where it is tacked down.
