I haven't seen this quality of tatami mat for sale outside of Japan, especially for the price! They aren't exactly the same as what I had in Japan, but it is very close. They are big, heavy, and sturdy, and they have that beautiful tatami smell. It totally transformed my space!

The mats were not the highest quality items on the market but considering how hard mats are to purchase and transport they end up being cheaper than most things online.

I have owned this mat for 5 years and love it.

I use 2 of these as a base for a queen bed in my spare Zen room. Good quality.
