The rug is very light blue. If you vacuum, or pull the threads in the right direction, you can find the dark blue, but it reverts to very light blue. That was my first disappointment. When I called customer service to ask about it, they had NO idea what I was talking about and just kept repeating stock answers. Very frustrating.

Pros: very beautiful color and design (the reason I bought this rug). Cons: the color of the rug is TOO easily changeable. when you walk on the rug, your foot print is shown right away in deep navy blue color. it will change the color even with slightest touch, let alone footprint. If you want to keep the rug's original color, you have to run your hand constantly across the rug. the feel of the rug is so silky that it is slippery.

This rug was not what I expected- more like a child’s playroom throw than a rug. (

Subtle colors just right for the room. It's soft to walk on but definitely needs a pad to keep it from sliding around.
