I have had this in front of the hearth for over a year now... still looks like new! Thick, and well made.

This rug looks as if it will do well as a protector of my new hardwood floors. I needed something to put in front of the fireplace in case any coals popped onto the floor. Next winter will tell the tale but in the meantime, it is certainly nice looking, and since it is so thick, I assume it will protect my floor. I hope it is really fire resistant. Pros: Very attractive and quite thick.

This rug compliments my bedroom colors. It is a beautiful thick rug.
