This rug is pretty, but as others mentioned, it is much much paler than the photos suggest. UPDATE: I decided to completely flip the rug around to see if the light hitting the rug’s nap from another direction would make a difference. And it did. It was easy to flip as it was the runner, and the colors look beautiful now. It perfect in the kitchen and I think will stand the test of time with my dogs. Changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.

I don’t like this rug the quality it’s Looks bad and I didn’t realize it was so small.

I do like the colors, BUT, the sheen on the rug makes the colors appear MUCH lighter from different viewpoints. I won't order anymore rugs made of these kinds of synthetics. I kept it as it's in my kitchen where it will get lots of abuse and need replacing in a year. Lesson learned though. No more synthetics.

Carpet/runner is great. Just what we were looking for. There are a few things you should be aware of. It definitely needs a carpet pad, it will slide on hardwood floors. It was a little thinner than what we expected, but acceptable. The color is probably the most surprising thing about this carpet. We saw it online on both a laptop and a desktop computer. On the laptop it appeared darker, on the desktop much lighter (more like faded). Probably monitor differences. The carpet we got is both light and dark. Looking from one end, it is darker in color. Go to the other end, it's almost faded to white. Brush it up and the color is darker left or right. I guess it has to do with thread direction. If you are familiar with Turkish hand woven carpets, you will get an idea of what I am talking about but more pronounced. We compared it to our $$$$ Turkish rug and it's no comparison. But for the price, we belive it is a very good value. It fits our specific need for a runner and we couldn't be happier. First purchase from Wayfair and very pleased with the product and site. We are now going to order the same carpet but the area rug size. We took a chance on the runner first before making a larger purchase. This runner sold us on the look, quality and price point.
