I wish I'd looked more closely at the other reviews and product specifications. Labeling it as a wool rug up top is highly misleading; it has to be 99% polyester. This is a slightly out-of-focus photo of a handmade rug printed onto a cheap mass-produced one. Nothing wrong with mass-produced, and I have another rug made from a similar material that I love, but this pattern on this rug just looks tacky. Also, when the rug is walked across (with clean feet) footprints stay on it and remain clearly visible, making it look even worse.

Love this soft, plush rug in guest room. The colors are slightly lighter than expected but still vibrant, great variety to play up with accent pieces. Very tight weave and quality backing make it a sturdy purchase that should wear well.

It's even more striking, more detailed and nuanced than in photo. Really really pretty.

This rug looks great in the photo. The specifications list it as being wool/polyester, and given the price, that seemed possible. But in real life, it looks like a cheap polyester bathmat that should be priced at half what's listed. The "wool" part of it is a mystery because there's nothing that looks wool about it. Seems deceptive to me. I returned it the day it arrived.
