It’s a nice rug, I am a little disappointed in the thin spots along the edges in a couple of places. It looks good in my living room with my current furniture, the color is beige and a mid toned brown, not as dark as the pictures portray. It has shed an incredible amount, my robot vacuum has to go empty 1-2 times while vacuuming just the living room, it can do the rest of the house with 1 empty and there’s carpet in the 3 bedrooms. Love love love this rug! I bought a new marine blue sofa set for Christmas, and was looking for a rug that would look good on our dark brown wood floor, with yellow/beige travertine and other yellow/beige accents in this room. The rug is so thick and fluffy and warm! The blue would look good with true navy, but our sofa set has a bit of green in it (like a very deep teal) and this rug was perfect. The yellows/golds are very very subtle but just hint enough to work with our gold/yellow/beige accents. The main color is a true ivory/cream and it also has very subtle hints of light gray. This rug would look equally good in a contemporary, modern, rustic, or traditional home, in my opinion. For a traditional home, it will shine in the more "casual" spaces of the home. In a modern or rustic home, it would look equally good in formal or casual spaces. We set it up 24 hours ago and so far, very little shedding. It arrived folded, not rolled, and when we unfolded it, it was perfect - no rolled edges or other issues to contend with. Can't say enough positive things about this rug. I love how thick and fluffy it is, love the colors for what I wanted, and the quality seems great. Worth the extra money to get what I wanted. Thanks Perigold! Update: Still love the rug, but unfortunately, it is not holding up. The surface wool that gives it the "cloud" look has worn off in places which is changing the look of the rug over time. I wish I could take a photo that did this rug justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. The beige wool is almost golden. It makes the room so warm and cozy. It hasn’t had much time to rest so it may look a bit bumpyuneven. It will flatten overnight I assume. I vacuumed it thoroughly and it of course produced a lot of shed (to be expected with a wool rug), but it held up spectacularly. It’s so easy to vacuum, and is clearly of excellent quality. I really like this rug. Simple, had the colors I needed for the space. Please note that there are various shades of green and blue in the rug. On the cooler tone spectrum. Worked well for me! The only thing is that this rug sheds A LOT when you vacuum it. Like I filled an entire Dyson canister with fuzz from the rug. I have not experienced it releasing fuzz on its own.
