Cabinet Pulls
Commonly referred to as cabinet handles, a pull serves the same function as a knob, but is larger and typically attached with two or more screws. To ensure fittings are the right size, look for the center-to-center measurement, which is the distance between the two installation holes. A standard sized pull is 4 inches long, with a 3 1/2-inch center-to-center measurement. For consistent positioning opt for a standardized mounting template.
Tip! Create a cohesive kitchen by finishing paneled appliances with oversized appliance pulls.

Backplates
A backplate is installed behind a knob or pull, and rests between the cabinet and hardware to add surface protection, decorative appeal, and cover any exposed holes from previous hardware. Incorporate them into your design to enhance existing fittings or create a bold statement.
