Cocktails for Fall: Embrace Autumn With These Easy Cocktail Recipes

It’s the holiday season, and that means it is time to spruce up your cocktails to match the mood! Cranberry, pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon are a few of the flavors you’ll find in these fall-inspired cocktails! We’ve compiled some of our favorite cocktails to make in batches if you are making drinks for your family during the holidays. Take a look at our three top recipes.
APPLE CIDER MARGARITA
For many of us, our favorite cocktail is a margarita, but to freshen it up for fall, we are adding in the yumminess of apple cider! It’s crisp, sweet, and nostalgic for this time of year. For this recipe, you’ll need blanco or gold tequila, triple sec, apple cider, lime juice, and cinnamon.
Recipe:
Cinnamon sugar
1 orange
1 1/2 parts tequila
3 parts apple cider
1 part triple sec
1/2 part lime juice
Sliced apples and cinnamon sticks( for the garnish)
Instructions:
Pour the cinnamon sugar onto a plate. Slice an orange wedge to wet the rim of your glass. Rim your glass with the cinnamon sugar. Add ice to your rimmed glass and add tequila, apple cider, triple sec, and lime juice. Stir with a cocktail stirrer. Add sliced apple and a cinnamon stick for a garnish.
PUMPKIN SPICE WHITE RUSSIAN
Celebrate pumpkin season by adding a spin on the classic White Russian cocktail! As a creamy chilled beverage, it has the power to warm you from the inside out. Ingredients needed are Kahlua, vodka, pumpkin spice coffee creamer, heavy cream, pumpkin pie spice, and ice.
Recipe:
1 part Kahlua
2 parts vodka
1 part heavy cream
1/2 part pumpkin pie creamer
Pumpkin pie spice (for the garnish)
Instructions:
Place all ingredients (except the pumpkin pie spice) in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously to combine, and pour over ice. Top with pumpkin pie spice if desired.
CRANBERRY WHISKEY SOUR
Embrace cranberry session with a simple twist on this classic cocktail! This sweet and sour drink is perfect for Thanksgiving or holidays.
Recipe:
1 1/2 ounces whiskey
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3 ounces cranberry juice
Large pinch of sugar
Lemon and/or cranberries (for the garnish)
Instructions:
Place all ingredients (except the garnish) in a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes and shake. Pour into a glass and serve as is or pour over ice. Garnish with a lemon and/or cranberries.
