Before you start brewing, you'll want to gather all of your ingredients and supplies that you need to make a pumpkin spice latte at home.

Ingredients

Milk: You'll need some sort of milk. Whether you prefer a dairy or non-dairy alternative, any type of milk will work for this pumpkin spice latte recipe. Oat milk is a great non-dairy milk alternative that adds a thick, creamy texture.
Pumpkin Puree: Pumpkin puree, homemade or from a can, brings that true pumpkin flavor.
Sweetener: You can use any type of sweetener. From table sugar to brown sugar to maple syrup, this component adds some sweetness to the latte.
Pumpkin Pie Spice: You'll only need a little bit, but a pre-made blend of pumpkin pie spice is the star of the show. This blend adds that classic spice that feels quintessentially fall. If you don't have any pumpkin pie spice blends in your pantry, mix 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/8 allspice, and 1/8 teaspoon ginger to make your own.
Espresso: Freshly brewed espresso gives this latte a strong, rich flavor with plenty of depth. No espresso? No worries. Simply swap the espresso for hot or cold coffee. You can even use cold brew for a punchy substitute.
Whipped Cream: Though optional, whipped cream adds the perfect amount of extra froth and fluff to top your latte.

In a small saucepan, heat the milk on medium-low heat until the milk is simmering but not boiling.

Step 2: Prepare the espresso.

Make the espresso according to your machine's directions and pour the two shots of espresso into a large mug.

Step 3: Add the mix-ins.

Add the pumpkin puree, sweetener, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir well to combine.
