Location

Hot tubs need to be placed on a sturdy and level surface. Your hot tub should be placed in an area that has access to water and electricity so it's easier to fill and run. When installing your hot tub, make sure there are a few feet of space all around it so that maintenance can be done comfortably.

If you live in a place that gets to freezing temperatures, be sure to make a clear pathway to and from your hot tub so that you can get to it safely.

Seating Capacity

When selecting a quality hot tub, make sure you are choosing one that is big enough to accommodate the right amount of people for you. Hot tubs come in a variety of sizes with different seating capacities.
2 – 3 Person Seating: This size hot tub is great if you have limited space but still want to enjoy the benefits and fun of a hot tub. This is the smallest size and can fit two to three people inside comfortably.

Choosing a hot tub material is important as each material has certain qualities that can be beneficial. Some materials are more durable than others for a long lasting experience, and some materials are lighter than others which may be better for you if you are renting or are planning on moving soon.
Plastic: Plastic is durable and lightweight which makes it easy to move. Keep in mind that plastic doesn't retain heat as well as acrylic.
