Tip!
Interested in this mattress but want another thickness? There's also an 8" option available for just under $400!
2. Alwyn Home 10" Medium Pillowtop Mattress
Though memory foam and latex mattresses are increasing in popularity, there's still a valuable place for innerspring mattresses in the modern mattress world. They're familiar, supportive, and ultra-durable. If you're a fan of the classics, you can't do better than the Alwyn Home 10" Medium Pillowtop Mattress for under $500. This breathable medium-firm mattress is bedbug- and dust-mite-resistant and doesn't transfer motion, despite being an innerspring mattress. You won't need to worry about feeling the coils while you lie on this mattress thanks to the two 1" layers of quilted fiber and polyurethane foam that form its cushioning pillowtop.
Soft mattress lovers, this one's for you. This mattress's plushness comes from 5" of gel memory foam just beneath a soft, quilted cover. The soft upper layer is supported by a base layer of structured memory foam that will keep your spine aligned without sacrificing any plushness. Though it may be thick, this mattress is ultra-breathable and ultra-cooling thanks to infusions of gel throughout the memory foam. This hypoallergenic mattress has low motion transfer and is also compatible with an adjustable bed base. On this mattress, napping will become your new favorite activity.
Tip!
If 10" just isn't enough cloudy plushness for you, you can also find a 12" version and a 14" version of this same mattress, both under $500.
