What You'll Need
Cardstock
Glue gun and sticks
Jewellery wire
Marker
Scissors
Instructions
Step 1:
Twist wire around a pencil or pen to get a crisp curlicue shape. We used copper wire to coordinate with copper charger plates. Silver or gold wire works as well.
Step 2:
Cut to your desired length, leaving at least 2 inches of straight wire to attach to the cardstock leaf.
Step 3:
Cut leaf shape out of cardstock. We drew leaf shapes on scrap paper and created templates for tracing. You could print a template of a leaf shape off of the computer or even trace real leaves. (Trees with interesting leaf shapes include maple, birch, fig, walnut, and sycamore.)
Step 4:
Write your guest's name on the leaf with your marker. We used gold to add even more shimmer.
Step 5:
Using a hot glue gun, adhere the back of the cardstock leaf to the straight part of the wire.
Step 6:
Set the leaf place card atop or next to a miniature pumpkin to finish an autumn-inspired table setting. See how it completes the look below:
