Many landlords have guidelines about what types of changes you can make to your place while you're renting. Thankfully, there are many temporary (or easily reversed) alterations you can make to create a space that's more attractive and functional.
One of the easiest ways to make a big impact (if your landlord permits) is by painting your walls, cabinets, or both. We've come up with 12 more changes that add up to a big impact!

Wall & Cabinet Makeovers
1.Use removable wallpaper, contact paper, or decals to disguise your walls or cabinets.
2.Remove (and store) your upper cabinet doors to reveal open, airy storage.
3.Instal a temporary backsplash with peel-and-stick tiles or beadboard that's been cut to fit and secured with glue dots.
