I ordered this podium to use at the grand opening of a housing project that I’ve been working on, and when it showed up I noticed that it is black and not reddish brown, and the platform where I would put my notes is up at the level of my armpit and I’m 5 foot four. I would definitely need to wear heels or stand on a separate platform to use this. It might work for people who are taller than me, but I think I’m going to repurpose it into a display case.

So I bought this for my pastor husband to use. So firstly I should have checked the height because it is nice and tall, well kinda too tall for my 5’10 husband. You don’t really see him once he puts his laptop on it. It works well for someone very tall or if you were speaking from a riser or raised area. The pieces suggested a timely assembly but it was painless. We will probably be removing the bottom portion to lower it a few inches but it is really my fault for not thinking about the height.
