These animals are great for sorting and counting. We even submerged some in jello for an animal dig! Our two year old loves these!

Will be using in my Kindergarten classroom. Students love making pretend zoos by building with blocks. It helps to have so many animals to help them share. Also use them to have students sort the animals--to find similarities and differences such as which animals have stripes or which animals are grey.

I received this product as part of an incentivised review program. I used the pieces in my classroom for observation drawing of animals. It is great since I studnets can see all of the sides of the animals without the actual animal being there. It is much better than looking at a photograph and copying it. I also have used them as counters with my 5 year old nephew. He loves animals and while playing with the animals we are able to get some counting and estimating in too.

My daughter loves these. We create sections on the floor to imagine a zoo. We count with them. They are in all of our areas of play. You can't go wrong with figurines of animals. A favorite no doubt.

I received this free product as part of an incentivized review program. I use the animals with special needs children for activities including counting, sorting, and same/different. I appreciate that the animals are realistic in color and anatomy such that, while my 10-11 year old students are still working at basic skill levels, they can use realistic figures rather than cartoon-like or preschool type animals. They have high interest in the animals included. For several weeks, I was unaware that the label inside the container was actually a fold-out brochure. Discovering this, I was then impressed that the brochure included facts about each animal. Each time I open the container, I am momentarily halted by a strong almost chemical smell from the plastic figures, but this has not stopped me from using the product.
