I have a 3 year old who is new to learning her numbers and colors and I love that she is able to practice both with this set. The little picnic baskets and food inside are so cute and she can also practice her fine motor skills with it.

I purchased the Sorting Surprise Picnic Baskets as a gift for my niece who loves miniature everything. I loved how adorable this set was but with the added benefit of being educational, so I felt really good about giving it as a gift. The tiny picnic baskets are all numbered - 1-10 - so it helps kids build early math skills like counting. The tiny foods are so colorful and fun, my niece likes to match them by color and sort them into their matching basket. We also had fun talking about the different foods, what letter they started with, whether she liked to eat those foods, and so on. I have a feeling this toy will last a long time because there are so many imaginative ways to play with it. The activity guide is also adorably designed to double as a little picnic blanket! I love the little details that went into this toy.

Kids enjoy learning about colors and numbers with this sorting set. Baskets are very cute :)

My 6 year old loves playing with these in a sensory box (see photos). I hide the items in sand or water beads - and challenge him to find them using tweezers or a scooper. He then has to match the item to the corresponding picnic basket using only the tweezer (so hard!). We also do treasure hunts: I hide the items outside and he has to find the pieces to match into the picnic baskets. I love the texture of the pieces. Such a cute set!
