I purchased this to assist with limited access as I am physically disabled. but the compartments for books, catalogs, etc are only about an inch and a quarter of space, so I had to go to Plan B. It IS being used for books, catalogs but not next to my chair. I had to rearrange things a bit for functionality. It is well made, passes all the necessary checks and I am happy with it as I am now using it.

This is so useful for a kids room. Our daughter will actually browse and pick from the books when they are laid out this way more so than when they’re on a shelf.
