One of the pieces had a manufacturing defect. We tried it on multiple sides and all of them had a rough wood grain texture, without the smooth black paint finish we expected.

Great deal! Assembly took about 2 hours and definitely needed a second set of hands. Only issue is keyboard slide out doesn’t seem to want to stay in we have had it come out a couple times but not a deal breaker for us we just aren’t using that part anymore. Would recommend! Lots of storage and looks really great!
