This desk is not as shown. The desk top does not alternate between light and dark wood, as pictured on the website, which is why I purchased this desk. I mean, it isn't ugly, but it isn't as shown. Also several screws did not fit the holes they were supposed to go in, making construction frustrating. Just quite disappointing considering how great it seemed online.

Nice looking piece of furniture but it took two people a couple of hours to assemble it. A few holes would not catch hardware and the wood was chipped on delivery, and it’s easy to over screw and crack. Also, really strong smelling like it was dipped in pine mail.

Great desk! This is large enough for several screens and a laptop and nice looking enough to sit in my living room without standing out and looking awkward.

This office desk is beautiful. My daughter and I put it together and it was pretty simple. Perfect size for my 12x10 room. Top of the desk has texture so it might be uncomfortable for some when using your computer. I had to get large mouse pad to support my arms when I'm typing. Overall I am very happy.

Once this desk is assembled it's not terrible. However, this is one of the worst "assembly required" items I've purchased through Wayfair. With its impossible nut and bolt tightening locations, and terrible tools (use your own) supplied for the cramped spaces, you'll want to use language not fit for your kids a few times. The desk itself is okay once it's all set up. However, the photos of the diamond parquetry top are far from what actually shows up at your door. To put it mildly, this product is subpar. It rises to the level of 2 stars, but just barely.
