Just got this desk and unable to put together. The 6 screws that should attach the pieces underneath are exactly the same length as the wooden piece it has to go through. How is that supposed to work? No screw left to go through the bottom of the desk. Also, the sliding shelf extends only an inch or so, the magnet releases the latch below but the sliders don't slide out more than two inches, impossible to use. Very disappointed with this purchase! Have so see how to return. Would choose zero stars if I could.

Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment. I don’t want to look at that computer after hours! Penny the pup approves this purchase!

Looks nice, went together OK ( not easy, but not terrible). Hidden compartment doesn’t work! Dissatisfied with that as I was hoping for a bit more storage space.
