The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. I would not pay full price for this table based on the finish.

Very well made and high quality. Very easy to assemble.

The desk is sturdy, heavy, and solid wood. It takes about 30-40 minutes to assemble solo. I love the depth of the desk because there’s enough room for two monitors, laptop, keyboard and mouse to comfortably fit. The wood isn’t hard-wood, solid wood yes, but soft wood. You’ll want to take precaution if you plan to use this as a writing desk, place an additional surface beneath your paper and over the desk, otherwise your writing will leave a permanent imprint on the desk surface. Took another star off because the stain job is sloppy and you can visibly see where the dripping stain dried and wasn’t buffed out.

First sight looks great, but upon further review, there is a crack that goes all the way through the tabletop and currently waiting for the manufacturer to contact me to get this resolved

Strong solid desk! Beautiful wood. Rocks if you have a very thick carpet. Had to add shims to ours
