55inch Lift top Desk with Power Outlet

I absolutely love this desk. Obviously at this price, it is not going to be solid wood. It’s made of particle board in China but it looks so much nicer. Some pieces were a little dinged on the edges, but none of that shows once it’s built. I have it next to a high quality dresser in my bedroom and it fits right in. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. Inspired by the tropical craftsmanship of the West Indies and classic British and Dutch Colonial design periods, the Charleston Writing Desk has a timeless kidney shape, stretchers, rattan drawer fronts, intricately-carved leaf motifs on the legs and a robus leather writing surface top. Crafted of Cherry Veneers, Rattan and Resin, it is finished in the deep, rich Maraschino Cherry. There are five drawers. The left and right top drawers have one removable partition, one writing slide and pencil tray for use in either drawer. The center drawer has a drop-front for keyboard use. Antique bronze round knobs and ring-pull hardware add the finishing touch.
