This gun safe was easy to assemble, taking less than half an hour. It’s okay for the price and will do the job of keeping the kids out. However, if you’re looking for actual security, it misses the mark. Anyone could easily open it with a crow bar. Additionally, it tips forward when the door is open.

This is not a gun safe that is going to keep your guns away from bad guys. It will however keep them safely away from your kids or grandkids. Assembly is required and the safe is very lightweight. Ours arrived with some dents but we were still able to assemble it.

This gun safe is perfect! It’s not heavy but it’s still sturdy and good quality. I love that it has pistol pockets. That is a very handy feature! The padded barrel holders protect your guns from damage, as well as a protective pad that sits in the floor of the cabinet. There are adjustable shelves and a motion sensor light that comes on when you open the safe. To open it, you can either use the key or program your code and use the keypad. Although it doesn’t appear very big, it holds more than you think it will. The description says it holds 12-15 guns but we were able to fit more than that. I’m happy and satisfied with this purchase!

Received within a week of ordering, came in a heavy rectangular box. You still have to put the safe together, which took my husband about 30 minutes. To keep your guns safe from your kids, this safe will do, but if someone with bad intentions and some proper tools wants to get in, they will be able to seeing that you put the safe together with screws yourself. Other than that, the safe is spacious and you can open it by key or code.

You will have to assemble this safe, but it’s not hard to do. I put it together alone in about twenty minutes. The front door is really heavy duty but the other three sides are a lot thinner. It makes the front heavy and it almost wants to fall over when the door is wide opened. It wouldn’t be a problem if the safe was full. The electric part is simple to use- just determine a 4 digit PIN number. I will say, the number font is hard to read. Once opened, there’s room for rifles and handguns and a shelf for other things. I’m not sure how fire proof it is and it could be broken very easy if you’re concerned about that. It came with a little battery powered light that turns on when it’s opened up.
