Where do I start: this product is halfway there. If you're looking to use it as standalone shed you will likely be out of luck because it's not build to last, it's flimsy and cannot take any significant load not even snow. As I was putting it together the wind was already trying to take it away. Ultimately I kept this product because being a handyman I enjoy a challenge. I calculated how much it would take me to build a shed from scratch, compared it with the plastic ones and decided whether using this as shell made sense. I thought It was well worth my time so I chose to HACK it and anyone can do this too. Two improvements was neeed: 1) I wanted it taller so I can actually walk inside without breaking my back, it's just about 6 ft otherwise I am taller than that it wasn't good plus tall things like my ladder can be stored in it. 2) It needed to be structurally strong to handle heavy snow, wind etc without it lasting only two months. My solutions: 1) I poured concreate to create a 5 inch pad and run one row of cinder blocks in the perimeter leaving space for the entry door. I anchored the base with 4 inch concrete screws (I through away the tent pegs they sent me LOL). I did have to also hack the doors, I framed them to the new size and added white sofit cover ventillation at the top to match the white trims in the product and it's great to let the summer heat escape, if I don't tell you, you will never know it's not the original doors the way I was able to make it work, yeah it's good stuff! 2) I added structural integrity with 2x3s in the walls and also the roof. I follow the steel lines using them as a guide then all panels get attached to my wood and use proper roof screws with gasket to ensure a water tight structure. I am happy with how it turns out. Even with the added expense to actually make it a proper shed I think I still come out on top when compare to plastic. On hot days it does get hot obviously but outside of that, with these simple hacks, I think I ended up with an amazing shed and I am fairly confident it will last a long time. I've had it for over a year and there are no noticeable changes to it. No sign water inside or rus anywhere. The only thing in the winter I had a lot of snow in the back and the doors seize shut so I decided to keep my snow blower in a different location so I I don't get lock out. I am glad I went for it because I didn't want a heavy build in the backyard and this does the trick. That said, I rate this product a 3 stars because my end product is a significantly improved version otherwise I don't think it would have lasted a month. My recommendation is buy it if you're willing to do improve it, if you don't want to do any work then be cautious with your decision obviously consider your situation and intended use. Good luck!

Such a cute shed. Needs a sturdy base. Sooooooo many screws, for sure check and sort your pieces prior to building.
