We use this inside. It is much sturdier and useful than the foo foo rack that it replaced. I was able to sand and stain the wood to fit into the room. We cut the top ends at an angle which added a bit of charm and made it less utilitarian.

First one was a little bent and hard to get wood in. They replaced it immediately and I am very satisfied. Thank you!

Solid and sturdy. Worth every dollar. I'm using 4' 2x4's. I'd say I had a palette stacked 4x4x4. 2 sets worked out more than perfect for me. As you can see in the close-up photo 2x4 wood is exposed to the ground. I live in SoCal, so rain isn't a concern of mine, maybe concerned about not getting any. However, when I wash down the concrete or it does rain it's not much. I'd suggest sealing the 2x4's if you're worried about rot. At least just the bottom 6 inches. I'm super stoked on the purchase.

They seem very sturdy. Off-the-shelf lumber slid into the guides with ease. The included hardware isn’t the greatest . The heads of the screws started to strip and shred once the screws were driving into the wood. Best to buy a small package of outdoor construction screws for your rack build.
