Perfect till we demo our the small closet.

We had this installed a few months ago. Installation was easy, if there are two people. The system seems strong so far as it can easy hold 12 to 14 wool and heavy coats in one segment (see photo). The metal parts make it look industrial. I saw a similar system used at a local Banana Republic store and decided to make this purchase. I don't regret it at all. It is strong (we attached the system to the wall studs). Two caveats: the space between bottom of the shelf and the top of the metal rail is a tad narrow for the hangers we use; each time I put on or take off a hanger, it hits the shelf and makes it less smooth when I hang my fresh laundered clothes. Not a deal-breaker, but annoying none the less. As far as the shelves go, I don't know how well the particle boards or laminate will hold up. Because it's not in a humid environment, I am guessing these will last for a few years. We plan to replace them with cedar planks when the boards break down. The nice thing about this system is that you can cut to the length you want to fit your closet. The photo I attached with the cut edge was made by our contractor to fit my son's closet. We will buy edge bands to seal it. Definitely recommend if you need a heavy duty system for heavier clothes.
