UPDATE PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY! I received two (2) of these shoe cabinets. BOTH were both broken and unusable upon arrival without any damage to the shipping carton. They are beautiful but the workmanship is horrible. The doors come loose and detach. The doors that do not detach slam open far too easily and are very unsafe if you have children. Additionally, when we moved the first one we received to make way for the replacement, we found a large pile of wood dust below the cabinet. After doing some research we learned that mango wood is highly susceptible to insects, specifically woodworms, termites, and fungus, making it a perishable wood. It requires proper, professional kiln-drying and chemical treatment to prevent infestation. The pile of wood dust we found was an almost certain tell tale sign of insect infestation. The only logical conclusion is that this furniture was NOT properly treated. This is very concerning! We couldnt get this furniture out of our home fast enough! What if the insects found their way into other wood in our home Wayfair has been wonderful and offered free return and full refund but the whole experience has been a tremendous effort for nothing. These cabinets are fully assembled (although broken) and weigh about 75 pounds each. They are difficult to unbox and nearly impossible to re-box for return. We have literally spent hours and gone through a lot of hard work and still have no shoe cabinet. ORIGINAL This product is GORGEOUS! It is just what I needed and wanted. But it arrived with the top drawer disconnected on one side making it impossible to open and causing some damage to the wood. Wayfair has been GREAT in offering to resolve the issue. I am waiting on a repair appointment arranged by Wayfair in hopes this piece can be repaired. It is far too beautiful to discard. It is important to note that it was NOT damaged during shipping. This piece was shipped with this defect. It disappoints me that the manufacturer does not have greater quality control. This is NOT any fault of Wayfair. They have gone above and beyond!
