The boxes are very heavy and we had to take the pieces out and carry them inside. It’s in our basement and not in our closet because it was slightly too big! It’s got a lot of storage and it’s perfect for all of our storage needs! I would purchase this for the future in another size! It’s of great quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Bestar closet system complimentary in exchange for an honest review. We ended up loving this closet system more than we thought. The assembly was pretty intuitive and straightforward. Building the whole thing was easy but it took a while, especially the drawers were pretty tedious and they took the longest. My husband built it on his own but I’d probably recommend having two people. Moving the units together required a lot of strength, especially on the carpet as each unit has little legs at the bottom so the units didn’t just slide easily. What we love is the amount of customization, not just within each unit but overall. Each section is a separate unit so we were able to put the wide unit with shelves on the left as we didn’t want drawers opening right next to the wall of our closet. The system comes with wall anchors and also with connectors to secure the three units together. The whole system is very sturdy and seems like good quality - the quality is comparable to the custom closet we had done at our previous house. My husband was able to adjust the drawers to reduce unequal gaps in between them and most of them open smooth and close soft. A few give us trouble so we’ll need to spend more time figuring out how to make it work. The motion lights are a nice touch. They’re more powerful than we expected and have adjustable brightness - they light up the whole closet so we don’t have to use the main light anymore. They’re attached by magnets so it’ll be easy to take them off to recharge. Couple cons - a few closet pieces arrived slightly chipped but mostly not in visible spots so it didn’t affect the look. Only one shelf was chipped in the front but we didn’t end up using all the shelves so it wasn’t a big deal to us. As for the assembly, it’d be nice if it was a bit more clear which parts go with which unit. E.g. the wider unit came in one box and the shelves for it came in another box. They both had the same model number to go off but it’d be easier if for example it said box 1 and box 2 go together or have a picture on it showing these are the shelves for the wider unit. We figured it out obviously but with having multiple boxes, it’d make it easier. Overall, we’re very happy with it. We love having drawers and shelves inside the closet so this was a great addition to all of the hanging space that was already in there.

The system was too big for closets in my house, but we were able to put 1 section for laundry room and rest together in the closet. There definitely is lots of space for items lighting is nice and bright. Great closet organizer sytem.
