This is the worst piece of hanging shelving I’ve ever purchased. The method of hanging is plain stupid. First, you can see that the brackets are at different heights on each side. Given that the wall holes must be very precise (to the 116 of an inch) this is not easy to measure. Also, given the weight of the unit and whatever will be on it, two screws of this type are inadequate. I would only be confident if these were drilled into studs, and given the fixed location of each bracket on the unit this is almost impossible. There should be a sturdier bracket system that is flexible to use studs, like a French cleat bracket, and that will allow the shelf to be flush to the wall, not sticking out. You could not put this on a wall where you don’t look at it head on. Viewed from the side it will stick out and not be parallel to wall. Also, this uses these little plastic sticky disks to cover up the screw head holes. Cheap looking.
