*Update - we were able to make it sturdy so it didn’t wobble. There are pieces that need to be installed on the backboard to adhere it to the joining supporting boards. I thought we completed all the steps but turns out my husband forgot to tell he he hadn’t had time to put the pieces on before he called it a night. So as I was moving it and noticed the wobble I assumed it what an issue with the receptacle. So since that has been corrected, I gave my review back a star. I’m still disappointed that the outlet is on top of the receptacle rather than on the side, as pictured in the listing. Original review I really wanted to love this receptacle but it’s just not sturdy. The individual pieces are well made and give the feeling of real solid wood. I especially appreciate the way the inner cabinets work as they don’t rely on a hinge and have supporting joints to help strengthen the cabinet doors as well as keep the trash can in place. However, the receptacle as a whole is not sturdy. It sways back and forth at the slightest nudge. It’s not uneven at the bottom but possibly the middle piece of play wood separating the spaces cannot be tightened anymore than it is - and seems slightly longer than the side walls perhaps The overall look seems chic at first glance but the drawers are quite small and the supporting wood across the bottom of the drawers has to be screwed through the outside wall. Making the screw visible even with the stickers they provide to cover them up. And lastly, the outlet for the one I received was on top of the counter space rather than the side of the unit as pictured in the listing photos. It would have also been nice the have the bottom hinges match the handles or at least black to match the corner guards.

Awesome space saving functional piece of furniture for kitchen.

Assembly was time consuming but straightforward. It looks great and feels very solid. My daughter liked it so much I may need to order another.
