Mine did not come with an instruction booklet. It isn't complicated to put together so that isn't a big deal, HOWEVER, it is important to note that the "feet" connect with 2 smaller screws than all the others. This screws are mixed in with all the big ones and are the same color. If you, like me, do not realize this and start forcing the large screws in, you will start to split the wood. Thankfully, I realized before too much damage was done and it is still functional. On to the build quality: it's fine. Sturdy enough to hold at least a few swords (I think I'd be hesitant to put 10 on here). Stable enough I'm not worried about it falling over. There is a little wiggle to it and it isn't level on hard floor. This is quite a bit cheaper than the other similar racks on the market and, well, you get what you pay for. As my collection grows, I expect I will relegate this to holding my HEMA swords rather than my sharps.
