This barrel is even better in person. We haven't had rain yet but it looks sturdy and definitely improved the curb appeal!

Nice size unit. Color blends with my house exterior. The filter screen on the top is loose so I am concerned that may be a magnet for mosquitoes to enter the barrel. Here in the desert we are repeatedly advised to not have standing water to attract mosquitoes. The shipping box had that frequently seen label warning about lead and possible cancer. Why would I want lead in a rain barrel? The water will go onto the veggie garden so may not be safe. I did not return the unit since it was bulky, not sure if I will actually use it, but with the ongoing drought I thought it was going to be a wonderful asset. I did like the size of the unit, the spigot half way up, the hose connection, the run off tray at the top. I will try to find a solution to the screen issue and decide about using it.

I have used this rain barrel for a few years now and it works great. In late fall, I drain the barrel and turn it upside down on concrete blocks for the winter. I love the fact it has two brass spigot options for accessing the collected water, providing flexibility in placement of the barrel.
