I bought this barrel and the diverter kit separately. Works best when you convert the top to a planter . This barrel is sturdy and was compatible with the eco station diverter kit. I bought 2 , and curiously enough one barrel came with 2 brass spigots and the other came with just one plastic spigot … plastic spigot does not look sturdy.. also the spigot cut out is low so you may want to elevate barrel for sufficient pressure, although you could cut your own hole and insert a spigot

This looks way better than most rain barrels. I wish it had a predrilled hole for inserting a tube to deliver the water rather than expecting to have it drain through the plastic screen. I ended up altering it so we could use a diverter and hose. There is also no overflow hole with diversion option so, if you want to avoid a possible overflow at your foundation line, I would recommend altering it in that way as well. We have it on an elevated platform (with cinder blocks and patio paver), which works perfectly to use gravity to force higher water pressure and fill a watering can. No hose hook up needed if that is all you're trying to use it for.

Works well but some of the connections/threading easily wear in the first couple of months.

Love these barrels! Wish it came with brass faucets instead of plastic. Nothing a trip to HD and 4 can’t fix though. Definitely perch your barrel on some pavers and test out filling your watering can or hooking up your hose before it gets filled. It gets heavy quick.

So far I like this barrel, hoping it holds up longer than a year or two Good price and size for area we need it in
