I have 9 rain barrels around the house and 2 275 gal. IBC totes to catch water for my garden. I bought this one for the front of the house. It looks nice and has held up well in the southern heat. Here's a tip..drain in the late fall so any remaining water does not freeze and damage the barrel and use metal faucets not the plastic ones.

The actual barrels are good…. The lid was a bear to put on.

I had a nice looking urn type barrel that only made it one season before it spring leaks that I couldn't fix.... this one is basic so I'm hoping it holds up. The valve is a bit weak especially as the level drops and there is no overflow outlet. But I like that the top comes off if I want to bail out the water or clean it.
