Of course very pretty, and sturdy - but another big benefit that's hard to find - the lids are domes without the usual raised lip so that any water rolls off instead of sitting in raised lip channel thereby eliminating inevitable rust opportunity.

Honestly I can’t get over the way the lid just sits on top and it doesn’t lock. I was going to use for cat food…but if someone kicks the bucket (no pun intended) the lid would fall right off. My husband will be right when he criticizes my purchase being overly aesthetic and nonfunctional. May even return.
