This file drawer is cheap. It took my husband 5 hrs to put together. The file hangers are made of plastic and are flimsy. This piece is put together with lots of hardware and glue.

Great quality materials, took me a about 2-3 hours to put together since I chose to do it all by myself. Instructions were somewhat easy follow except for 2 different steps

Love this filing cabinet. It was exactly what I was looking for. For being a relatively smaller cabinet, it holds all my files in one place when they used to be in 3 different cabinets. Love the fluted front detail as well.

I really needed a small filing cabinet for my tiny home office. I saw this 2 drawer fluted lateral filing cabinet and it looked so pretty in the picture. I couldn’t believe how fast our cabinet was delivered. I am not the handiest person out there but I thought, why not and decided to put it together myself. You have to pay attention right from the start. It was a bit tricky to make sure the pieces went together going to correct way. If you have the first 2 pages correct the rest of the build is so very easy. The only reason I have this cute filing cabinet 4 stars is because you have to overlap the file folders. I included a photo to show how you have to hang your folders. You will love this cabinet. Having to overlap the files is ok.

This file cabinet exceeded my expectations. I am always a little cautious of furniture that you have to build, but this piece is pretty solid. It is heavy, and the drawers do not feel wonky. It took me a couple hours to put together by myself. But it was manageable. I can’t wait to put it in my office.
