Gun Safe Lock

Well made and easier then my husband thought it was gonna be to put together. Yes it took awhile but most things do when you’re assembling them yourself. We love the top apartment because we can cut all our documents in the top part.

It's an ok cabinet. Instructions suck but if you have mechanical aptitude you can figure it out. It's shorter then I anticipated but oh well. All in all, not worth the money they are charging. To be honest, probably worth about $100 or so. Do not get your hopes up real high.

It is fine but the keypad doesn't actually work even after a second one was sent.

DO. NOT. BUY. Thin sheet metal. Embarrassing. Couldn’t keep out a 12 year old if they really wanted to get in, forget about a grown adult. I can pick this up and throw it 10 feet. I’d store my valuables in my sock drawer before putting them in here. Attached is pictures of the “quality” of the safe.

When reading the description it becomes fairly obvious that this isn't exactly a "safe" as one would expect Al Capone to have and it fits that bill. Made from a thin metal, it would keep the kiddos at bay but a hardened criminal out to get their revenge on Jesse Pinkman could easily make their way into it. The setup was easier to complete than putting batteries in some of my kids' toys and the paint scratches and mars just as easily. The light on the door would only be considered bright if you had fallen far enough down a well or elevator shaft that you couldn't even see the twinkling of the sun at mid day. Setting up the keypad lock was interesting as with it came a little white box that has absolutely no explanation as to what it is or what it does. Just that it took 4 precious copper top AA batteries away from an otherwise useful existence. Shipment was weird as somehow the shipping company failed DOT inspection 3 days in row while it was in my city, but who knows what a DOT inspection is anyway. Lastly, absolutely no obvious or discernible way to set a fingerprint entry and after setting up the code I wasn't interested in even trying. All in all, it's a cheap cabinet with a mediocre lock that works for the everyday gun owner.

I bought it a birthday gift to my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! He loves the separate compartment at the top. He keeps his ammo and money there.
