Overall the quality of this product for the price is upsetting. I originally knew I was getting manufactured wood but did not realize the poor grade of particle board I would be receiving instead. The laminate does not cover all sides of the pieces which means you open a box of chipped or warped laminate already lifting from the particle board in some cases. In fact, the cubby inserts are pretty close to cardboard. I live in a very humid city and know the whole unit will not survive through the years without swelling and warping because of the exposed sides. The shoe racks have to be duct taped in place to keep from sliding and falling out because the indents for the shelf pegs were not created on the assigned boards on which I already had to measure and drill new holes for the lip. Creating an at home indent into the shelves would break the laminate and disinteragte some of the particle board. The top center "unit" is actually just a top board that connects the two outer units leaving the wall behind exposed which I could learn to live with honestly. However, the picture shows a seamless transition from top to bottom. This has been photoshopped. Between a quarter and a third of the pre-drilled holes were not created and of the ones that were another quarter are not aligned, causing the units do not sit square or flush. Drilling the missing holes (which should have been pre-drilled by the manufacturer) compromises the laminate and flaky particle board structural integrity further. Unfortunately, assembly is a pain for this reason. You have to measure and create your own pilot holes with your own drill bits to even assemble the unit, which more than triples the time you should have to spend assembling it yourself. Spent thousands on two of these as well as a corner unit. Honestly, a trip to a big chain discount retailer would yield better quality closet systems. One is going back. The hassle of dismantling the others, the return shipping costs, and the logistics of sending such huge items back make it a burden to return all of the purchased items.

This unit fits perfectly on the wall Ifor which purchased it. Quality is excellent. The problem we had was sorting through all the boxes to see which was which and then finding the tops and bottoms that went together. Each unit is two pieces that need to be built and then connected. I was disappointed to find the center unit had no back since both the pictures and sketches appeared to show one. This is why I gave it a four out of five stars.

love it. Very beautiful a little intimidating print together but once you get started is not that hard.

Great quality. Really heavy components and it takes a lot of time and effort to assemble - but I love it!
