I bought this to go in the smaller of the two closets in my room for shoes. Storage bins fit perfect in the large spaces for sandals to go in. It was fairly easy to put together by myself but the directions got a little confusing at some points and I had to redo some things. I used a power drill and it saved me a bunch of time. I just went slow with it. Seems sturdy enough for my shoes and won’t really be moved much since it’s almost the exact width of the closet it’s in. I’m going to use the hooks it came with on the walls in the closet to hang bags on.

This shelving worked out great for me. It was easy to put together, it feels sturdy, and I like the open back design so that my paint color peeks through. Having a small shoe size and using small plastic risers to stack some flats, I was able to fit more than 50 pairs.

Love it, large enough to fit all my shoes and purses, it took me awhile to screw all those screws but it was worth it, study and safe!

This show shelf is just what we needed for our garage as our family enters the house, plenty of space for all types of shoes and looks nice.

The shelf is sturdy. There are over 125 wood screws to hold it together. My hands hurt from putting them in with the supplied tool. The straps to attach it to the wall are white, made of the same material as backpack straps, and quite noticeable. You will need them though. There is definitely a tipping concern, especially once there is stuff on the shelves. My biggest complaint is not with the product, but with the product description. In two separate pictures, I was given the impression that the shelves could be moved or removed to accommodate tall boots and other larger items. Now that I have the rack together, I am seeing that the picture where it says that a shelf can be removed literally means that the screws are taken out and that shelf is not used at all. It does not mean you can slide the shelf in and out whenever you feel like it. Also, there is a second picture that points to a single orange shelf that is structural and cannot be removed. That gave me the impression you could remove all of the others. This is not the case, as there are other shelves that connect between two different pieces and hold them together. If you are thinking that you are going to change the position of the shelves in this rack, you are mistaken. They are all screwed into place and your only option is to leave one or two of them out while putting the rack together and just have those screw holes empty. I am disappointed because one of the reasons I chose this shoe rack over others is because I wanted to be able to include my tall boots. With the shelves only having a height of 14 in, even my lowest cowboy boots do not fit on the shelf without crushing them. There is no way you could fit dress boots on this shelf unless you left shelves out of the unit while you were assembling it.
