The first package I received was completely broken upon arrival. It looked as if the box was patched up from the inside and 85% of the contents were completely useless. Wayfair had me list off all of the parts that were broken, even when I told them the majority of it was a loss. I had to sort through everything and list out what I needed, which again..85% of the parts. I listed everything out and they just sent me an entirely new set. The second delivery was fine, none of the pieces were broken which was great. But after assembly, we realized there is no way to affix this to the wall. With small children, it’s a hazard to not mount it to the wall. Not only that, it does not sit flush against the wall due to the legs. It’s a poor design. We have not actually used the product because we don’t know how to mount this to the wall and use it safely.

If we’re focusing solely on looks, I’d rate this piece 5 stars. It’s beautiful when it’s put together. The color wood is a perfect natural oak, the gold is a true darker gold, not that fake super bright look. The wood grain is very believable for particle board, it doesn’t look fake or cheesy. Honestly, it looks a lot more expensive than it is. As for build, 25 stars is generous. The screws to put together the interior of the shelves don’t fit at all. They are too short to screw in the plastic edges of the drawer, and it just ends up ripping out. We had to use our own screws and be EXTRA careful not to punch through the front. Luckily, the front panels have that stripe look to them so the slight bulge from the larger screws is pretty well hidden. This whole piece is particle board, which we expected, but the finish flakes off and cracks super easy with any pressure. Even just hammering in the pieces at the very beginning, the finish came off, but it’s an interior facing piece so it’s not the end of the world. Also, if you’re over a men’s shoe size 10.5, the drawers won’t close, so you’d have to put shoes in at an angle and you’ll lose space. The picture is a women’s size 8.5, and they fit great. We shoved a few pairs of my boyfriend’s shoes in and they barely fit. High heels are a stretch too, but it works for our daily wear tennis shoes and sandals. Overall, we’re not happy with the imperfections, but for the overall cost and the end results, it’ll do. Be super cautious and take your time putting it together and you should be fine. Shipping was quick, and package came intact.

I’m excited to use this! I love that I can use, take out, or adjust the height in the draws. This cabinet looks clean. Took me about an hour to assemble. My only complaint is when you open the shelf you can see an open cabinet so you see the wall. Overall I would buy this again.

It looks beautiful! I love that I can store many shoes in it. The assembly was really simple, and I receive a lot of compliments when people see it.

Awesome shoe storage cabinet. It’s very tall and functional. Does not have a back panel so it needs to go against an inside closet wall, but overall it’s great. Putting it together takes some time. Good quality.

It disappoints because it is very cute and alleging but as soon as you put it on the screws broke they dont grip well the front doors or the plates to move the drawers

So for now I am going to give this shoe cabinet a lower rating because we have not been able to put it together yet. Some of the screws provided were too short to install the drawers. The structure came together fairly easy but since the screws were too short to install the drawers we had to request a new hardware kit. We haven’t received it yet but I will update my review when we do get it and are able to fully build the piece.

This is the closet the way it came package. It is very well. It was delivered in two days just like Wayfair said I did not have any problems with the delivery. I’m very impressed with the way everything I sent on time and there something‘s gonna be late today they’ll let you know right away. I am partial to Wayfair. I think this is like the best store ever and I have not received anything I did not like or could not use and it is very impressive and I will take a picture again as soon as I put it together and at least I get to keep my shoes all in one place nowso if you’re looking at this closet, please purchase it it is it’ll be worth it. I will re-I will post pictures as soon as I put it together.
