This arrived without the instructions, so it took me a couple of hours to put together and was a bit of a pain. I ended up installing a couple back pieces upside down, but I am too sick of spending time on it to take it apart and redo it to get that part right. This is your standard particle board piece, but it isn't bad. I wear size 9.5 womens and am able to fit my sneakers and sandals in here. I like that it gives the option to remove a board so you can fit taller shoes in there; however, that of course reduces the number of shoes you can fit. I like that it has a space at the bottom to put more shoes, although a taller space might have been more useful. I also like that it's not very deep, so the profile gives me more space for maneuvering in my mudroom.

I wanted to love this cabinet. The fluted detailing is beautiful and it looks more like a decorative accent piece than functional storage, which was exactly what I needed for my entryway. The narrow profile is a huge selling point and the finish looks even better in person than in the listing photos. Unfortunately the functionality let me down. I wear a size 7.5 and my shoes barely fit in the flip drawers. They are just too shallow. Anything larger than a women’s 8 is going to be a real struggle, and forget about storing boots or chunky sneakers. For a shoe cabinet, that is a pretty significant flaw. The open shelf at the bottom saves it slightly for n the core function does not work well it is hard to overlook. If you are buying this purely as a decorative entryway piece with minimal shoe storage needs, it might work. But if you actually need to store shoes regularly, I would look elsewhere.

Looks great and made our space look much more put together. It fit about 10 pairs of my shoes but couldn’t fit anymore. It was a little tricky to put together, you can tell that the product isn’t very high quality and it showed during the building process. Overall, it’s a nice addition and gave a good space to hide shoes.
