Fiorentino Solid Wood Bracket Shelf with Live Edge

WOW! We ordered two of these shelves to go into an alcove in my husband’s home office and they are beyond stunning! You realize immediately why they are on the expensive side as soon as you pick the box up. It’s HEAVY and the wood’s live edge is honestly breathtaking. These will go with any style of decor from rustic to mid-venture modern! The walnut wood we got is the perfect medium-deep tone to match the other woods in our home and the brackets that accompany are no joke! Super heavy duty. Heirloom quality product! Not a flimsy piece by any stretch of the imagination and smooth as butter!

Will sadly have to find another way to hang this shelf. It is a very thick and heavy piece of real wood (which is beautiful), but the cast iron brackets do not sit flush against the wall. I attempted to hang the brackets with the screws provides and dont feel that they would be sturdy enough to hold the shelf plus the items on it, even if screwed into a stud (which the instructions clearly state must be done). It would be better served using anchors for a heavy weight. Regardless, setting the shelf on the brackets still made it tip forward, and possibly have items slide off of it. The wood piece itself, however, is absolutely beautiful. High quality, stained perfectly. The shelf I received is walnut colored, and has vibrant shades of medium brown. For the price point, just beware you may have issues with the brackets.

These are pricey but gorgeous!! have a bit of a smell to them b/c of the finish but nothing that really bothered me
