Loon Peak Henry Solid Wood Crate

I would have given this a higher rating but the stain wasn’t even dry when delivered! There was stain on the bubble wrap and even after leaving it outside to dry and air out, the smell is still so strong. Otherwise, sturdy and nice looking crates!

Solid, easy to add the wheels. Using under my pantry shelves to keep items off the floor. Only negative was the smell of the stain. Placed outside in the sun for a few hours and it made a big difference!

Nice crates. Color is well represented in the pictures. There were a couple of knicks during transit but wont be an issue for my use. Wheels were easy to put on. It does state that you will need to let it air out to get rid of the odor, it took about a week. I like the crates, not in love with the color but overall a good purchase. I took away the one star just because of the odor and the amount of time it took to get rid of it.

I love how solid and sturdy the crate is. The wood does have a lot of very large knotholes on every side (not shown in the photos) but my main complaint is that I ordered the color “white” but when the item arrived it had no stain of any kind—it’s raw wood. I was expecting “white” to mean that a whitewashed or “pickled” stain was used instead of a dark finish like the other 2 options offered. I might have ordered an unfinished crate anyway but feel like the product I received doesn’t match the description of “white”.

I loved these way over-priced crates so much that I purchased another one! Yes, they are pricey, but they are perfect for what I wanted them for and they are definitely well-made. I went with the brown and as you can see in the pictures, they are a bit lighter than pictured on the Wayfair site, but they matched in the pantry where I placed them. They came completely assembled and the casters were easily attached with a screwdriver. As mentioned previously, they are sturdy and they are made of solid wood. I expect them to last for years to come. The only set-back is that they are smaller than expected. Dimensions are correct, but the interior is much tighter in person than I thought they would be. I do recommend this product for if price isn’t that much of a concern.

This wooden box on wheels is for wood scraps and tree branches for my fire pit. Great that I can easily roll this box from my garage to the outside when I need wood for the fire pit. Having this in the garage keeps my wood nice and dry.

Very easy to put the wheels on. It is perfect for extra storage in my pantry.
