Easy, simple, fantastic. I actually ended up using one of these as a sort of mini hanging coffee shelf -- I have a very small NYC apartment and there is not room for an end table next to my couch so I hammered this into the wall and now I sit on my couch and have a cute place to put my coffee next to a small potted plant. Reccomend!

Love these shelves. Super easy to put up, slim and good for tight spaces (like ours at the end of a pot rack). The wood is pretty, finished nicely and the brackets can be set wide or narrow. We matched ours to the wall studs. I like that the brackets serve as bookends, too. Very happy with these.
