I'm using one for food scraps, used napkins and paper towels - the convenience being the small size means it has to be emptied in the green bin daily so there's no risk of weird food odors. My kids are using one each in their rooms for recyclables (basically water bottles) and I have one in the laundry room. I initially didn't like the small size but I'm a fan now. They're sturdy too.
