Works great!

We really love our composter, we save a lot of food waste that would go to the dump. We throw our egg shells, chicken bones (no large bones), napkins, tea bags and it just turns into like soil or dirt. Since we don't have a garden we put it in the compost garbage but it shrinks it down and it's no longer stinking up our home or attracting gnats.

This thing is so quiet. Like you only know it’s on because of the occasional click when the buckets shifts. It is currently sitting on our kisland and I’m not sure where it will live permanently as it does eject a bit of heat, maybe the end of the counter that’s open on the side Anyways, it grinds up everything we’ve tried. We even had some soggy old potatoes in there and it did a decent job breaking those down. The instruction packet did mention it cannot be placed near a heat source nor in areas with freezing weather so we can’t put it in our unheated garage during a northern winter.

We love the idea of composting but we got gnats so badly we stopped. We started using the Luma composter and no issues! We love being able to compost again and love this machine.

This electric composter looks sleek. The size is appropriate for small family kitchen. Operation was pretty simple without reading the included manual. It was very quiet when running and no odor released due to activated carbon.
