This little gadget actually works to sharpen rotary blades. It is a little awkward to use until you get the hang of it, but it works!

This is amazing! It really does sharpen the rotary blades on my fabric cutter. Be careful though. It does make them very sharp again.

Who doesn’t love a fresh blade when you start a new project As an active Art Quilter, I can never have enough rotary blades. A new blade makes cutting and creating a breeze!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rotary blade sharpener is great! I love that I am able to sharpen my blades to make them last a little longer. Rotary blades are so pricey-this is a great money saver. I use my roatary blades for paper crafting so this is my experience with paper, cardstock and vinyl. I cannot say how well it works if you are using your blades for fabric.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the OmniGraffle dual blade sharpener 45mm and it works great! I used it on my rotary blade that I have for cutting material and it made the blade super sharp with just a couple of turns. It's really easy to put together and use. Definately recommend using a glove when taking the blade off because of how sharp the blade is going to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was rather unsure how to use this rotary blade sharpener when it first arrived, but fortunately, it came with fairly clear and easy to follow instructions. You just unscrew the two middle handle pieces, insert the blade to be sharpened over the screw that sticks out of one, then screw them together again with the blade sandwiched in between them. To sharpen, you just use those handles to turn the blade against the sharpening surfaces. There are two surface grains here. You should start with the very coarse side, then turn the blade over to sharpen against the much finer surface material. It definitely helps to use a little bit of water and keep the blade a little bit damp throughout the sharpening process, and it's a good idea to rinse or wipe off any residual grit before returning it to your cutter. The blade on my Omnigrid rotary cutter is actually brand new, so it isn't dull at all, but I did go through the motions of sharpening it, and I can see it's a pretty simple process. It takes all of five minutes at most, and it can really extend the life of your blade. I love that because it saves me money! It's also environmentally more responsible to get more use out of something you already own instead of throwing it out and buying a new one. If you have a rotary cutter, you definitely need a way to sharpen the blades for it, and this is a great way to do that!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing the blades on a rotary cutter has been the only way to do it for years. Why? Because I didn't know this handy little gadget existed! Easy to use, entirely functional. Sharpening 45 mm rotary blades is so easy. Extending the life of your rotary cutter is better on the pocket - more money to spend on your projects! But really, having this in your arsenal is a no brainer. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly never even knew this existed. I have been replacing the entire blade for years and years. The convenience of sharpening the blade myself will not only make crafting a cheaper experience as well as speeding up the process when the blade does become dull.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my mom a rotary cutter, and it had not cross my mind to check for a blade sharpener for the blade. I'm surprised and glad I found this dual rotary blade sharpener to go with her rotary cutter. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. Can't say if it further sharpened the blade because her rotary cutter is new and was not in need of sharpening. However, it is easy to use and I appreciate that as she deals with problems in her hands.
