Both sides of this mat are usable, but the back of the mat has no markings - it is blank - just the way that I like it. The lines/markings on these mats can be distracting when you are trying to cut according to a RULER. So, with this mat, all you have to do is turn it over - I love it! My mat came with a sticker and the glue from the sticker doesn't wash off. My rotary cutter drags on it every time I go across it. Useless!

It is the perfect size fur cutting little pieces on the table instead of having to get out one of my big mats and sit on the floor. The markings are clear and well measured and right along the edges making the perfect cut easy.

My kids have claimed this for themselves lol it's a great mat for crafting. The perfect size for their card-making and sticker-making hobby. One thing I wish is that the sticker label didn't come attached to the actual board. I wish it was on the outside of the packaging. I've already washed the mat twice with warm soapy water and it washes off fantastic it ever gets dirty. Overall I recommend it!
